You buy brand name cereal right? But sometimes you can’t afford the full on brand, and well the off brand isn’t all that different…so long as the milk is still good right?
Well, how would you feel about watching the off brand version of a movie (hey going to the cinema is pretty pricey right?)
Okay maybe that analogy is crap. How about this instead:
I thought I was pretty hardcore for dressing up as Gizmo for Halloween, but I’ve never thought about recreating the entire movie (okay I kinda have, but there are laws and money issues, no?)
Well, in 1981, there were hree 12 year old friends, Chris Strompolos, Eric Zala and Jayson Lamb, who were so moved by a film they decided to recreate it. It took them seven years too…Check it out.

Maybe seven years from now, we’ll see an adaptation of the Crystal Skull.
